Am I CRAZY!!! but what would a 20 year old guy want with 31 year old female!!!!


Okay, so I have always been attracted to 30 something year old guys!! So I just don't think this one is going to work....not even as a hang out buddy!!!

Not Fair!!!

So I was told that I am not fair because I refuse to meet up with a guy I don't know and act like the girls on "Girls Gone Wild". SERIOUSLY!!!

A Wise Lady once told me that "We teach people how to treat us!". I knew she was right, but I didn't get how we taught people how to treat us. Now I know a huge part of teaching people on how to treat us is by what we settle for or let them get away with doing to us.

I want a gentleman. I want a to hang out with a guy that can carry on a normal conversation. Now I am not saying I don't expect him to be a guy but I will not change who I am for a guy, and I am not a Girls Gone Wild kinda girl!!!!

okay so I think I have heard that phrase before or something like it!!!......but it was from a guy that I had been dating for some time!!!! I have never met this guy and this is how he wants to present himself...obviously he missed the "good Texas girl" description.

Right Now Right Now!!!!

I used to have a friend that would use the phrase "Right Now Right Now" to indicate the urgency of the moment...I had heard this phrase for years before I heard George Lopez refer to it!!

That is the name of the next guy. While this is a guy that I have been talking to lately he is not the first and I am sure he will not be the last!!!

This guy wants ALL the benefits of a long term relationship RIGHT NOW!!! and then he wants to get to know you!!! (So he says!!!) Does he realize that I am 31 years old!

Can't we just hang out get to know one another and then move forward appropriately?

Your Very Pretty, Why are you still single?

Really???!!! I wanted to respond.....Well, we know why you are still single...you have such a way of making a girl feel so special....but I didn't!!! I noticed that he likes the stars on Food Network so I talked to him about his cooking interest.....

If the guy had to say anything a better way to do it would have been to say, "your still single...what can I do to change that ;) " Now, that would have suggested that he has sense of humor and made me laugh....

Frog Man

He calls himself frog man!!!  and all he did was send a message that said, "You are Beautiful. Have a good day!!!"

So I looked at this guys profile and he is not someone I would normally jump to talk to!!! but you have to admit a message like that gets your attention!!!! I think I will have to keep Frog Man's profile...

How are you doing?

The "How are you doing guy" pops in everyday with a message that says, "how are you doing?" the problem is it really doesn't go any further then that and there is no reference to the answer or the day before. Kinda like the movie fifty first dates where everyday you start fresh....a little weird....

The Artist

I woke up this morning to what looks like a BEAUTIFUL DAY on the lake!!! I sit in my oversize chair and I get on my laptop because it is in front of me....I get online and realize I have new messages. I'll admit it is fun reading about other people. Then I read the messages. An artist sends one early this morning....asking me if I would like a warm massage today. Well, right off the bat my eyes notice the word warm....and for some reason in this Texas Heat!! The idea of anything being warm just does not appeal to me right away!!! The very next phrase is "I can host or come over!!!" SERIOUSLY!!!! You expect me to come to your place ALONE!!! or worse yet!!! Let you come to my place, and I don't know you!!! Do you think I want to be KILLED today!!!???  I am sorry I love my life way too much to meet up with you....another message ignored!!!

**just a note*** I have already looked at the next guys message and it reads I want to hook up...so I read his profile and got excited because he might understand what hooking up means when you have never met the person!!!!

Police Officer

Last night I had the wonderful opportunity to chat with a police officer. He seemed really nice and really funny!!!

So he mentioned let's meet....my response, okay where....his response, come over tomorrow. Hold up!!! I don't know this guy! I am not about to go over to his place to meet up with him! Seriously!! I explain that was not going to happen. He begins to insist. I refer back to the fact that he is a police officer. I asked him if he would normally recommend that a girl go over to a guy's house alone that she has never met!! He begins to tell me that he is special because he is a police officer....and of course I had a quick come back of "Says the Serial Killer"

It only gets better from there he wanted to meet me in the back of the Wal-Mart parking lot!!! and had the nerve to tell me not to wear a bra....Seriously!!! My conclusion this guy is off his rocker and on to the next one!!!

Foot Fetish Guy

I logged onto the site and received an IM. The message simply read Hi. I replied Hello...the next sentence was can I massage your feet...????   (WHAT??) Now I must say that this was not my first encounter with a foot fetish guy! Each situation in the past has left me wanting to run from the situation. When the message came across I felt those old feelings of wanting to run. Don't get me wrong I wouldn't mind a guy with a foot fetish. I pay good money every 2 to 3 weeks to have my feet rubbed, and the guy that does my pedicures knows right where to rub....(just behind the ankles!!!) However, have you seen the guy in Adam Sandler's movie Mr Deeds! It has been my experience that guys with a foot fetish are just like the guy who wants to put on everyone socks...that is just weird and SCARY!!! They appear from NO WHERE and out of NO WHERE want to rub your feet!!! What the Heck!!! At least let me see you coming my way!!! Say hello, ask me my name, shake my hand start small talk....and then if it goes further and we find ourselves sitting on the couch together watching a movie then you can ask to rub my feet!!!

Texas Girl looking for Texas Boy

When I created my profile for the singles site I had to come up with a headline. I put a lot of thought into it!!! When I got down to the basics I came up with "Texas Girl looking for Texas Boy" I realize that limits the people that will reply to my profile. However, you can't help it when you know what you want!!! There is just something about Texas Boys that is a little different then the rest of the world....and I think it is HOT!!!

The first response came from a guy living in Texas, but bragging about not being from Texas. Really, he obviously didn't get the idea!

Then there was the Russian guy. No offense Russia but you have nothing on Texas boys!!!

Why a Blog!!!??

Recently I read a girls blog about Kissing Frogs!!! It is her experiences in dating. I will admit it made me feel GREAT to know that I am not alone!!!
